During this journey, players will venture into the TV World and take out several enemies in the hope of accomplishing their goal. The story of the Inaba Investigation Team as they uncover a massive mystery and try to save people from their impending doom makes for a great time. Updated Februby Ritwik Mitra: Persona 4 Golden is one of the best JRPGs of all time, and fans will relish the opportunity to check out this title on modern systems after a lengthy wait. Persona 4 has an incredibly close party where every character shines, but some party members are better than others. Party members are on the whole more versatile, and in-turn more useful. Persona 4’s party is also much smaller than Persona 3’s, which naturally has gameplay consequences. They don’t have the same drama as SEES, and they’re a stronger group for it. Persona 4, on the other hand, features a tight-knit cast of genuinely close friends. P3’s cast was written as if they were real, nuanced teenagers – not everyone in the cast liked each other, and relationships had to naturally build. One such way Persona 4 softens its appeal is through its party members. RELATED: Persona 4 Golden PC Mods We Want to See Persona 4 bolsters the core of Persona 3 while repackaging the experience into a more approachable RPG all around. On a mechanical level, the game really is more of the same – the fundamental gameplay changes being the addition of party control and a more traditional level design. This is arguably why Persona 4 ended up such a success in the first place. ![]() Between Shin Megami Tensei If… and DemiKids, this wasn’t exactly novel, but Persona 4 saw success and tonally pivoted. I'm a Persona fans, a huge fan of it! But, I have to say one word for P4 The Golden, "DISAPPOINTING!!!"Īctually, I don't want to throw my precious time to write a bad review, but this 'anime' is forced me to do so.Where Persona 3 was a dark, moody story about not only the nature of life and death but what it means to be alive and have lived, Persona 4 chose to take a step back and embrace a lighter tone atypical for both the Persona sub-series and the Shin Megami Tensei franchise from which it originally spun off of. ![]() The Story, ummm.i can't say much because there not so much to talk about. The story retells the original story with a new character or should I say, this is an alternative setting. Well, I don't care if it's alternative or not, I just want to watch some good stuff. So, the story is clearly have been rushed in 12 episode., basically, the original story is almost gone from the entire series, because they just retell the events that not included in the original story (pointless events indeed) As you can see, P4G is just haveġ2 episode, while the original Persona 4 The Animation have 2x more episode than Golden. The art in P4Golden is a bit brighter and simple than the original story (talk about junk), the songs are quite matching with the series.Īnd now for the character section, our protagonist Yu Narukami clearly have different personalities than the original story. Yu in Golden is more charismatic and courageous person. The problem is the rest of the party, they just waiting for turns to talk, just like cycles. Well, just because it's an alternative setting, that doesn't mean it doesn't important. ![]() I recommend you guys maybe don't watch this shit., it can make your eye close or cry. For Persona fans, I don't really think you all enjoy this adaptation anyway. What began as a triumphant success, both critically and commercially, in the gaming culture at large, even outside of the JRPG community, has now devolved into whoring itself out, Type-Moon style. That is not in of itself a negative connotation, as the spin-off games and the Vita port are great in their own right. However, the event that started the whole milking process started with the announcement of an entire adaptation of Persona 4 in anime form back in 2011. It would be of no surprise to anyone that it was a thing that, in the end, would be looked at as a project thatĬould not be called anything but unnecessary. Speaking as someone whose favorite game is Persona 4 and will cherish it til the day I die, I’ve also adored its Vita port Persona 4 Golden. With its different mechanics and new awesome scenes, it also brought a new character, which breathed all new life to it. ![]()
